Forwarding merchant (m/d/w)
for the area "Operation / Customer Service - European Short Sea Traffic with focus Ireland / U.K.":
Your tasks inclued the following key aspects:
- Development / Establishment of the European Shart Sea activities in the field (FCL/LCL + FTL/LTL)
- Operating / Planning the Pre- Main- and Oncarriage
- Communication with our partners who are located abroad
- Support and expansion of existing customers
- Calculation of quotations and follow up same
- Rate and contract negotiations
- Analysis of the market
- New customer acquisitions for Swan Container Lines / European Short Sea traffic
You should have following characteristics:
- a successful professional qualification as forwarding or shipping merchant
- a distinctive service mentality
- an independent, structured and careful working method
- Teamwork and communication skills
- good English and computer skills
